On the Stone supports the work of remote Indigenous Art Centres and Social Enterprises through its stall at the Old Bus Depot Market, Kingston ACT.
As storytellers, we support the cultural initiatives and artworks that are being generated from remote Indigenous communities through their community-owned art centres and social enterprises.
This work, inspired and driven by their elders and community artists, is preserving their cultural identity and the importance of their homelands for their spiritual and emotional well being.
Our small contribution in representing their 'spirit of place' is to hold a fortnightly market stall at the Old Bus Depot Markets to showcase their work to the wider public.
We hope you will join us in purchasing their products as part of showing your support for these enterprising remote communities.
